Terms of use
By creating a LAAFI account, you accept these terms.
1. The service
LAAFI provides an automated assistant that answers your business's customers on WhatsApp and Telegram, and a dashboard to manage your catalog, orders and settings.
2. Your account
You are at least 18 (or of legal age) and able to commit your business. You provide accurate information, keep your password secret and are responsible for what is done with your account.
3. Trial and subscription
- The trial lasts 7 days. During the trial the agent answers only on the Telegram test bot, for at most three conversations.
- Afterwards you choose a plan and pay the monthly fee by Orange Money or MTN MoMo, to the number shown in the dashboard, then send the proof of payment. We activate the account after checking it.
- Reminders are sent 5 days and 1 day before the due date. If payment is not made 3 days after the due date, the agent is paused. The dashboard stays accessible.
- The price shown is the price paid: we add no fees. Cancelling and refunds: see the refund policy. A period already started is not refunded, except in the cases it lists or where the law requires it.
4. What you remain responsible for
- The accuracy of your prices, stock and information.
- Fulfilling the orders and bookings the agent takes.
- Confirming payments. If you turn on automatic confirmation, you accept its consequences.
- The messages you send to your customers from the dashboard.
- Complying with the law and WhatsApp Business rules, and having the right to use the photos you upload.
- Telling your customers that an automated assistant helps you answer.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use the service to sell goods or services that are illegal or banned by WhatsApp's rules, to deceive or harass people, to send unsolicited messages, or to disrupt the service.
6. Limits of AI
The assistant uses artificial intelligence and can be wrong. We build in safeguards (prices taken only from the catalog, payments confirmed by you by default) but cannot guarantee the absence of errors. Check what matters: payments, stock, addresses. A pharmacy's assistant is set up to give no medical advice, but it does not replace a health professional.
7. Availability
We aim for continuous service, but it depends on providers (Meta, Telegram, AI providers, hosting). We do not guarantee permanent availability.
8. Your data
Your data stays yours. We handle it as described in the privacy policy. You can download it and close your account at any time.
9. Suspension and end
You can close your account whenever you like in Settings. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, non-payment or a legal obligation.
10. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses (missed sales, for example), and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the last three months.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. Important changes are announced in the dashboard before they take effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Cameroon. The courts of Cameroon have jurisdiction.
